Rule Regarding Nisedhagya in Kathmandu Valley

Yesterday CDOs of Kathmandu valley are sitting in a meeting discussing the extension of Nisedhagya. They are also planning to tighten the rules and regulations of Nisedhagya following CCMC's advice. More details will come after the meeting. New proposed rule regarding Nisedhagya: CCMC- Nepal has made following decisions regarding the ongoing situation. 


- In the city areas like Kathmandu valley, the Banks & offices except the emergency services have to operate with only 1/4 of the employees.


- Journalists must show Press card issued by Department of Information & Broadcasting inside Kathmandu Valley. 


- The industries have to operate with the provision of food and shelter within the industry for the workers adopting all the safety precautions.


- The drivers and co-drivers can run the vehicles used in construction site with the identity card of the construction site. 


- Nepal Police, Tourism Board, Immigration Department will conduct regular follow-ups in the hotels of Kathmandu valley where people have been quarantined. Similarly, Local government will conduct it in other districts and the people not following the hotel-quarantine rules will be punished.


- Local government has to conduct awareness through miking systems.


Few days ago DAO Kathmandu has requested to contact 100 or 103 if anyone faces difficulty in traveling for emergency work  and all the residents to decompose the bio degradable  waste by themselves and send non biodegradable waste by waste collectors without throwing them carelessly.
